President’s Message

Serving Benton Harbor, Holland, Kalamazoo, Marshall and Niles Community Banks

Welcome to the spring edition of Chemical Bank’s Points of Interest newsletter. With spring in the air, many of the people that I know are focusing on gardening, home improvement projects, graduation and travel plans as well as their other favorite spring and summer activities. People are on the move! With people on the move, money is also in motion. Our goal is to support you, your family and business by making your banking experience as convenient as possible. We are pleased to offer several tools that will assist you in making your financial life easier, including enhanced online banking, financial calculators on our website and the introduction of our mobile banking app coming later this summer! Please see the articles in this issue or contact your favorite Chemical Banker for more information.

In addition to these products and services, we feel that the greatest benefit we provide to you is our expertise and being an outstanding resource for you. Whether it is funding a college education, purchasing a car or home, planning for a business expansion or for retirement, we stand ready to assist you. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance — we encourage you to make use of our time and talents to provide support for your aspirations!

As the weather turns and you are out and about, please stop in and see us at any of our community events. Feel free to join us on Saturday, July 20th at our second annual Chemical Bank Race for YMCA 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run at the Whitcomb Tower in St. Joseph. All of the proceeds from this event benefit our friends at the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph YMCA. For more information and to register, visit Chemical Bank is proud to have sponsored the St. Patty’s Day Pacer and Parade in Holland with the purpose of benefitting Community Action House. In conjunction with the two sponsored events, our Holland and Zeeland area offices held a food drive to also benefit Community Action House. Our customers and staff helped collect 496 food items for the food bank. In turn Chemical Bank donated one dollar for every item donated. We are proud to support Community Action House’s food pantry and programs!

Our mission every day is to provide memorable, valuable and enjoyable service to you. If you feel we have done so, please tell a friend, family member or business associate.
