Community Spotlight

Summer may be gone but Chemical Bank’s community spirit remains warm and bright all year long! As the North Region looks forward to many of the upcoming community events this fall, we give summer a kind farewell by looking back on the activities that Chemical Bank participated in.

CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAYS

We kicked off our summer with Customer Appreciation Days as a way of saying “thank you” to all of our customers! In celebration of our gratitude to the communities we serve, we also offered free document shredding courtesy of Allshred Services, Incorporated. Our customers were able to bring in one box of personal documents that they wanted to have securely destroyed. In case you missed these events this summer, be sure to watch for notices at your local office for their next Customer Appreciation Day and document shredding as well as other community happenings.

COUNTY FAIRS

One of the many benefits of being a Community Bank is participating in all of the county fairs, which provide a great way to support local communities. Over the summer, Chemical Bankers volunteered at many fairs throughout the East Region to offer a helping hand with the events while enjoying the entertainment and festivities. Chemical Bank knows that county fairs are an important facet of the community, which is why we purchase animals in support of Michigan 4-H clubs and members. Please do not hesitate to stop and say hello to a Chemical Bank representative the next time you see them at your local county fair!

BUILDING A HAPPY HOME

Several Chemical Bankers put on their tool belts to help build a home for a deserving family in the Holland area. Our employees worked on painting, hanging doors and other finishing details for the home. Working on projects like these not only demonstrates our community support, builds camaraderie amongst our team members and community partners, but most importantly helps people who may need it most.
